For parents of sensory-sensitive & autistic kids
Calm, verified places for sensory-sensitive kids
Sensory-Friendly Kids is a parent-built directory of sensory-friendly and autism-friendly places and services for children. We list the accommodations that matter — and verify every entry — so an everyday outing feels manageable instead of overwhelming.
How this directory works
Verified, not scraped
Every listing is checked against a written standard before it goes live, and each one shows the date it was last verified.
Sensory details up front
Quiet hours, noise-reducing headphones, lighting, smells, pacing — the things that actually decide how a visit goes are listed on every card.
Organized by city
Browse by category, then by your city, so you only ever see places you can realistically get to.
Browse by category
New categories — museums, indoor play gyms, sensory-friendly Santa events, and more — are added over time. Each links through to the cities where we have verified listings.

Why we built this
For a lot of families, the hardest part of an outing isn't the activity — it's not knowing what to expect. A salon that turns the music down, a museum with a quiet hour, a play gym that isn't packed: small accommodations change everything, but they're hard to find and rarely advertised. This directory exists to collect that information in one calm, trustworthy place.
